Daddy Was A Sailor

when I was two he forced me
to cross through a spider web in the door frame
one year later he would leave my mother

Nutshells

on my way across
the park today
two old asian women
leaped from behind a tree

they were sword fighting;
this is not a metaphor,
just old ladies that
mastered the big secret

without answers
without location
without youth
